Position Summary We are seeking a motivated Bookkeeper to join our London Business Management team. In this role, you will work closely with Account Managers and Directors, supporting a dynamic client base in the music and entertainment industry. This opportunity offers outstanding training, career development, and exposure to complex financial operations in a fast-paced and creative environment. The role is hybrid, with three days per week in the office. This role is located in London, UK. Primary Responsibilities Manage bookkeeping and VAT returns for a diverse portfolio of music and entertainment clients. Process purchase invoices and prepare accurate payment packs for approval. Raise sales invoices, post bank receipts, and ensure timely revenue recognition. Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and client statements. Maintain organized and accurate general ledgers and accounting records. Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports. Support in budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis for client accounts. Liaise directly with clients and third parties (e.g., vendors, tax authorities, auditors) to resolve queries. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. Provide ad hoc support to Account Managers and Directors on client projects and financial transactions. Qualifications Prior experience in an accounting practice or similar financial environment. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong commercial awareness and a genuine interest in developing business acumen. A collaborative, self-motivated professional who thrives in a team-oriented environment. Progress toward AAT, ACCA, or ACA qualification (either through study or professional experience). Strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A passion for the music and entertainment industry.
