Trainee Teaching Assistant – No Qualifications Required

We are seeking a Trainee Teaching Assistant to join a supportive education setting and gain hands-on classroom experience.
This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in education. No formal qualifications are required, but any voluntary experience with children or young people is highly valued.
You will be supported by experienced staff while learning how to support pupils with SEND and SEMH needs.
Key responsibilities:
• Supporting pupils in the classroom
• Assisting with learning activities and routines
• Working 1:1 with pupils who need additional support
• Supporting emotional wellbeing and behaviour
• Helping maintain a positive learning environment
This role is ideal for someone who:
• Is interested in working in education
• Has voluntary experience with children or young people
• Is patient, reliable and eager to learn
• Wants full-time, hands-on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
