We are seeking an experienced HV Project Engineer to join our engineering and technical services team, supporting a key client within the UK nuclear sector. This is a pivotal role across multiple UK stations, offering structured mentorship, training, and development opportunities to grow your technical and project delivery expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce and maintain engineering documentation, including quality plans and technical specifications
* Manage technical queries and support contractor selection and contract placement
* Conduct technical reviews of contractor drawings and documentation
* Undertake technical appraisals, feasibility studies, and site surveys
* Prepare Engineering Changes and manage associated documentation
* Develop commissioning documentation and lead test teams where required
* Support Project and Construction Managers to ensure safe, timely, and effective project delivery
About You:
* Strong technical capability and engineering judgement
* Good understanding of High Voltage
* Experience in regulated environments; nuclear or power station background advantageous
* Chartered Engineer or HNC (or equivalent)
* Experienced in CDM-compliant construction or engineering projects
* Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
* Proven ability to work safely in high-hazard environments
