People management is a key aspect, including performance management, disciplinary actions, scheduling, and payroll accuracy.
Occasionally assisting other stores within our network of convenience stores.
What makes a great Customer & Trading Manager:
* Previous line management experience in a fast-paced, operational environment.
* Exceptional customer service skills and ability to coach a team to do the same.
* Proven ability to meet KPIs and performance targets.
* Experience managing disciplinary, performance, or employee relations issues.
* Capability to lead store operations independently in the absence of senior management.
* Track record of delivering excellent customer service and motivating colleagues.
* Operational leadership skills, including responsibility for store functions when needed.
* Success in achieving or surpassing KPIs related to sales, customer satisfaction, and colleague engagement.
* Experience handling employee relations issues, including performance and absence management.
