Assistant Data Engineer (Cabling)

Summary
We are seeking several Assistant Data Engineers (Cabling) to join our expanding team. Under the guidance of a lead Senior/Data Engineer, you will conduct surveys, install copper and fibre cabling, containment, termination, testing, labelling, and document structured cabling systems and related technologies such as Wi-Fi Access Points and Smart Hands services. You will work in pairs alongside a lead Senior/Data Engineer and as part of a wider national team.
This role offers a great opportunity to start your career in structured cabling, working with technologies including copper and fibre cabling, Wi-Fi Access Points, and Smart Hands services. You will be involved in delivering high-quality installations, testing, and documentation, ensuring projects meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Follow all NG Bailey Health and Safety procedures and ensure all safety training is up to date.
* Adhere to NG Bailey's policies, processes, and procedures.
* Ensure all work complies with company standards and exceeds client expectations, adhering to international standards and manufacturer guidelines.
* Complete all tasks safely, maintaining quality and productivity.
* Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service.
* Complete all documentation promptly, including timesheets.

Additional Notes
* Security Clearance will be conducted during onboarding.
* Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.

* Health and Safety Certifications (e.g., First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, CSCS/ECS, Manual Handling, Working at Heights, IOSH, IPAF, CNCI).
