Working in partnership with people we support, their families, carers and other agencies, to improve quality of life and create opportunities for individuals to grow and remain independent and well.

Role and responsibilities
Enabling Community Support Officers enable older people to live in their own homes, as independent citizens, remaining safe and well. They play a key preventative role in enabling people away from longer-term formal care and support needs and services. The officer provides discreet and person-led support meeting aspects of social and emotional care on a short-term basis while helping people design their own strategies for remaining independent by building on their own strengths and support network. They support the development and implementation of individualised support programmes, in a highly person-centred way.
Hours: 22.2 hours per week
Salary: £15,841 - £16,884
