We are always on the look out for graduates to work at Teaching Assistants and Learning Mentors! We are working with a number of excellent Secondary School/Alternate Provisions in the Salford area, who are looking for ambitious graduates to support children with a range of abilities and needs in their academic studies.
These roles would be perfect if you are looking to enter a career in education, whether that be in a support role or gaining experience to prepare for a PGCE, apply today!
The Roles:
1. Work with a group of identified pupils or 1:1
2. Use your experience to enhance learning and support
3. Have the skills and knowledge to support children with a range of needs
4. Provide effective strategies through sport to promote positive attitudes to learning
5. Ideal opportunity for students looking to gain paid experience before a PGCE in 2022
The Ideal Candidates:
6. Natural ability to befriend the pupils while maintaining a professional attitude
7. The willingness to provide an environment in which pupils can reach their full potential
8. Energy and enthusiasm
9. A professional approach to handling difficult situations
Requirements:
10. Degree (BA/ etc Hons) degree, preferably in a curriculum subjext
11. DBS (clean and relevant) – Can be obtained through Prospero Teaching at a cost of £
12. Two professional references
