Role: Senior Care Assistant/Med Technician Location: 14 Sweyne Avenue, Southend on Sea, Essex, SS2 6FQ Salary: £14.31 per hour Hours: 34.5 hours per week, rota-based including weekends and public holidays As a Senior Care Assistant/Med Technician, you’ll take a hands-on approach to delivering outstanding person-centred care, while also playing a key leadership role on shift. Whether you’re supporting a new team member, updating care plans, or simply offering a reassuring hand to a resident, you’ll bring confidence, warmth and purpose to everything you do. You’ll work closely with nurses and managers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and you’ll be a go-to support for the care team especially in moments that matter most. What you’ll be doing: Providing high-quality, compassionate care that supports dignity, independence and wellbeing Leading your team on shift and ensuring care delivery runs smoothly Responding to emergencies and offering guidance to care assistants under nurse supervision Reviewing and updating care plans to ensure they stay accurate and person-centred Administering drugs and treatments as prescribed in accordance with NMC guidelines and Company Policy and Procedure.
