As Product Manager – BESS / Transactional, you will be responsible for introducing and managing the lifecycle of mobile energy storage products globally for Aggreko’s transactional business.
Your leadership will help us build and execute our growth strategy in the Energy Storage space within the rentals market. You will significantly collaborate with the sales organisations of different regions to understand and identify market demand and build the business case for the optimisation of existing fleet and the development/introduction of new products. You will work together with engineering and procurement to build good relationship with suppliers, to ensure we meet our fleet growth expectations’. You will work with marketing and operations to introduce products to the business, also advising on product retirement to make sure our fleet is constantly optimised to match market demand whilst delivering the best possible returns.
Responsibilities
9. Maintain a broad understanding of industry trends and market drivers
10. Create, maintain and manage product roadmaps as well as specify the resources for their delivery
11. Coordinate the development of business cases, including gathering market intelligence to generate user requirements, for fleet optimization and new product development
12. Own high-level user requirements from which products are specified and own product value propositions
13. Establish and maintain the appropriate level of supplier relationships
14. Coordinate the introduction of products from a commercial, sales & marketing and operations perspective
15. Advise on the decision to end products’ lifecycles

Location : Europe, preferably close to Glasgow (Scotland), Dorsten (Germany), Barcelona (Spain), Rotterdam (Netherlands) or another major Aggreko location in Europe. Home-base as an option. Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time.
What we’re looking for
19. B.Sc. in engineering or a business-related degree or a marketing-related degree
20. 10 years of leadership experience (with or without direct reports), preferably in the rentals industry and preferably with good balance of commercial and technical roles
21. Knowledge of energy storage systems, renewables, and hybrid systems
22. Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills – communicates clearly and effectively, being able to manage and influence a complex network of stakeholders at different levels (internal and external)
23. Strong cultural awareness – understands and respects the cultural differences across countries and regions, adapting accordingly.
24. Growth mindset (business and personal) – always looking for growth opportunities within the business and yourself.
