Hospitality CoordinatorLocation: Stevenage, SG1 2NYHours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to FridaySalary: £13.40 per hourAbout the RoleWe are looking for an organised and customer-focused Hospitality Coordinator to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our hospitality services. This role is central to delivering a seamless guest experience, acting as the key link between the kitchen, Front of House (FOH) teams, and customers.You will coordinate hospitality events, manage bookings, support service delivery, and ensure all services meet Sodexo's high standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesEvents & Service CoordinationPlan and organise hospitality events, meetings, and catering servicesCoordinate with kitchen teams, FOH staff, and external vendors to ensure seamless deliveryEnsure consistent, high-quality setup and presentation of all hospitality eventsCustomer Service & Guest ExperienceDeliver excellent customer service across all hospitality bookingsEnsure all bookings are delivered on time and in line with Sodexo standards and food policies (including allergens, temperatures, and wastage control)Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionallySystems & Technology ManagementOversee and manage the Everyday Hospitality booking system, ensuring it is checked dailyTroubleshoot system issues quickly and liaise with IT support when requiredCommunication & Team CoordinationLead a weekly hospitality meeting with relevant team members to ensure smooth collaboration between kitchen, FOH, and customersEnsure all teams are kept informed of new bookings, changes, or enquiriesActively participate in team briefs and huddlesHealth, Safety & ComplianceComply with all Sodexo policies, mandatory training, and food safety regulationsReport safety observations, incidents, and technical faults to the line managerEnsure adequate stock levels to support hospitality bookingsKey Challenges of the RoleManaging high workloads and tight deadlines across multiple bookingsHandling last-minute changes such as cancellations or increases in guest numbersResolving system or technology issues that may impact service deliveryManaging difficult customer situations and complaints with professionalismWhat We're Looking ForSkills & CompetenciesStrong organisational and administrative skillsConfident using booking systems and troubleshooting basic technical issuesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem-solving ability and attention to detailA customer-focused mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressureKnowledge & ExperienceExperience in hospitality, events, or customer service (preferred)Understanding of health & safety and food safety regulationsAbility to manage documentation, emails, and reports accuratelyQualifications (Preferred but not Essential)Food Safety trainingCustomer Service trainingWhy Sodexo?Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.Belongin a company and team that values you for you.
