Primary Teacher - Sheffield
Are you a passionate and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for flexible, temporary ongoing work in Sheffield?
Academics are working in partnership with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Sheffield who are seeking dedicated Primary Teachers to support both KS1 and KS2 classes on a supply basis.
Position: Primary TeacherLocation: Sheffield, South YorkshireContract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supplyPay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you
About the Role
As a Primary Teacher in Sheffield, you will deliver engaging and structured lessons across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and preference.
This Primary Teacher role in Sheffield offers the opportunity to work across a variety of school settings, giving you flexibility while gaining valuable experience in different classrooms across Sheffield.
You may be required to teach within your preferred key stage or provide general cover across KS1 and KS2 depending on school requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2 * Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners * Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment * Monitor pupil progress and engagement * Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies * Work collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Experience teaching within KS1 and/or KS2 * Strong classroom management skills * Flexible and adaptable approach * Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
