Data Manager
Salary: £34,656 - £36,275 actual salary (£40,182 - £42,060 FTE) Monday to Friday, 36 hrs per week Term time plus 5 days (39 weeks)
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm & Friday, 8am to 3.45pm
Our client is a thriving and inclusive secondary school committed to delivering high-quality education and supporting the development of all our students. We are looking for a talented and organised Data Manager to join our team and help us use data to drive improvement and success across the school.
Location: Ruislip
The Role
As our Data Manager, you will take the lead in managing, analysing and reporting on the school’s data systems. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, teaching staff and administrative teams to ensure our student data is accurate, secure and used effectively to inform decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and develop the school’s Management Information System (MIS), ensuring accurate and timely data input and reporting.
* Produce regular data reports and analysis for senior leaders, governors and external bodies.
* Manage student assessment, attendance, behaviour and attainment data.
* Support staff in the effective use of data systems, providing training and guidance where required.
* Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR) and school policies.
* Oversee statutory data returns such as School Census and performance data submissions.
About you:
* Have experience of using Bromcom, SISRA and ALPS or similar packages
* Have up-to-date knowledge of school performance data
* Have advanced Excel skills
* Have the ability to present information in a clear and understandable format
* Be an excellent communicator
* Have experience as a Data Manager
* Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service
