GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a family run business located in Tewkesbury. We are currently recruiting for a Sales Office Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a customer service role focused on taking and processing orders from an existing customer base (inbound calls and emails, no cold calling), ensuring every order is accurate, on time and supported by outstanding service. This is a full-time, office based, permanent position working 40 hours per week, five days, across Monday–Saturday, offering a salary of £39,700. The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Office/Customer Service Manager (ideally in FMCG / food & drink) with a track record of managing teams. Sales Office Manager main duties: * Lead, coach and motivate a team of Sales Administrators to deliver exceptional customer service and order accuracy. * Oversee the end-to-end order process for existing customers: inbound orders, data entry, pricing, invoicing and delivery coordination ensuring “right first time” every time. * Collaborate daily with Haulage, Production, Technical, Sales and Senior Management to align service levels, product availability and promotions. * Maintain accurate customer database and pricing files; ensure compliance with agreed terms and promotional activity. * Own customer service KPIs and reporting; present insights and drive continuous improvement. * Investigate queries/complaints with thorough root cause analysis and implement preventative actions. * Provide hands-on cover across the Sales Office when required in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Sales Office Manager required skills and experience: * Experienced Office/Customer Service Manager (ideally in FMCG / food & drink) with a track record of managing teams. * Confident, proactive decision-maker with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels. * Highly organised, strong IT skills and exceptional attention to detail with solid commercial acumen. * Customer-first mindset with proven problem-solving ability and a commitment to continuous improvement.
