Salary: £34,398–£52,490 (dependent on experience)

The Role:
Deliver individualised, engaging learning programmes tailored to each pupil
Use multi-sensory approaches and assistive technologies to support communication and learning
Foster social, emotional, and life-skills development alongside academic progress
Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff, and families
Implement EHCP targets, monitor progress, and adapt strategies to meet diverse needs
Promote a positive, inclusive classroom culture that celebrates every achievement
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have extensive experience teaching Autistic pupils in a SEND setting
Be confident using communication strategies including PECS and Makaton
Understand sensory integration and multi-sensory learning approaches
Demonstrate strong safeguarding knowledge and inclusive teaching practice
Be passionate about student wellbeing and enabling every child to reach their potential
