Your Role: Auto Parts Counter Professional
As an Auto Parts Counter Professional, you will report directly to the Store Manager and be central to our inside sales activities. Your focus will be on building and maintaining lasting customer relationships, providing excellent service, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
* Engage with customers to build long-lasting relationships.
* Close sales to meet or exceed goals.
* Interact courteously and professionally with customers.
* Understand customer needs and preferences.
* Locate hard-to-find parts and negotiate with vendors for the best deals.
* Provide accurate quotes and follow up to confirm orders.
* Track sales, promote specials, and identify lost sales opportunities.
* Assist colleagues and foster new sales opportunities.
* Fulfill customer orders from various sectors, including installers, fleets, municipalities, and dealerships.
* Perform other duties as assigned and promote workplace safety.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of counter sales experience in a competitive market, preferably in wholesale auto parts in the aftermarket industry.
* Exceptional phone skills with a positive, enthusiastic tone.
* Existing customer base is a plus.
* Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Passion for customer service and exceeding sales goals.
* Ability to build and maintain business relationships.
* General automotive knowledge preferred.
* Results-oriented, proactive, and growth-driven.
* Experience with POS systems and MS Office (Word, Excel).
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Multilingual abilities in Spanish and/or Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) are a plus.
* Ability to work independently and proactively.
* Outgoing, assertive, positive, and persistent personality.
