Overview
To ensure that high quality domiciliary care services are delivered to service users through efficient management within the contracted service area.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day‑to‑day coordination and preparation of rotas, care packages and care staff.
* Provide on‑call coverage for alternate weekends and attend a shift if it cannot be covered.
* Supervise and support the care team to ensure the highest standard of service delivery, ensuring all visits are covered and none are missed or cancelled.
* Re‑allocate visits and rounds swiftly, effectively and safely, confirming instructions by text to avoid misunderstandings.
* Ensure on‑call staff are telephoned or seen daily to stay updated on hospital admissions, concerns about service users and general issues.
* Manage day‑to‑day visit changes, ensuring service is maintained at all times for all service users and performing rounds when capacity is challenged.
* Deal with service user queries and respond to them effectively and speedily.
* Notify service users or appropriate others in advance of any operational issues affecting their service delivery, including when we are running more than 30 minutes late.

It is essential that the successful candidate will hold a clean driving licence and own a vehicle. Experience in working with those with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential.
