🎯 Cover Supervisor – Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step in when teachers are absent and ensure continuity of learning by:
Delivering pre-planned lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
Managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive learning environments
Answering student questions and clarifying tasks
Following school policies and escalating issues as necessary
Working flexibly across various departments and subjects
Gaining hands-on classroom experience and building relationships with staff and students
🎓 Cover Supervisor – Requirements:
We are looking for individuals who:
Hold a degree (any subject considered)
Have previous experience in a school or classroom (preferred, but not essential)
Demonstrate strong behaviour management and leadership skills
Are confident communicators who can engage young people
Are adaptable, reliable, and calm under pressure
Are enthusiastic about education and supporting student development
