Earthworks & Drainage (Highways Project)

My client are seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join their team on a major Highways project. This is a key role supporting the successful delivery of earthworks and drainage packages, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to specification.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Manage and oversee earthworks and drainage operations on site
•Support the planning and delivery of works in line with programme requirements
•Prepare and review Inspection Test Plans (ITTs)
•Ensure quality control through aggregates, stone, and soil testing
•Coordinate subcontractors and site teams effectively
•Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
•Assist with reporting, documentation, and progress tracking
•Work closely with the engineering and commercial teams
REQUIREMENTS
•Proven experience as a Sub Agent or Senior Engineer within civil engineering
•Strong background in earthworks and drainage packages
•Experience preparing and managing ITTs
•Knowledge of aggregates, stone, and soil testing procedures
•Ability to manage site activities and teams efficiently
•Excellent communication and organisational skills
•Ideally experienced in using NRG software
CSCS / SMSTS / First Aid are required.
