Senior Quantity Surveyor - Construction / RefurbishmentLocation: South Yorkshire & LincolnshireAbout the RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction contractor for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team across South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. This is a permanent opportunity offering a strong pipeline of projects across healthcare, leisure, retail, refurbishment, and social housing sectors.This role is ideal for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a senior position with full project lifecycle responsibility.Senior Quantity Surveyor - ResponsibilitiesCommercial management of construction projects from tender to final accountCost planning, procurement, and subcontractor managementPreparation of valuations, variations, and final accountsFinancial reporting, forecasting, and cost controlManaging subcontractor accounts and paymentsSupporting project delivery teams with commercial and contractual adviceAttending site meetings and liaising with clients and stakeholdersProducing cash flow forecasts and monitoring project performanceSenior Quantity Surveyor - RequirementsProven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity SurveyorBackground in construction, refurbishment, or main contractingStrong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contractsExperience managing project finances end-to-endExcellent commercial awareness and negotiation skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management abilitiesRelevant degree or equivalent qualification preferredWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience)Company car or car allowancePension and benefits packageLong-term career progression opportunitiesStrong pipeline of regional projectsApply NowIf you are a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for a new opportunity across South Yorkshire or Lincolnshire, apply today with your CV for immediate consideration.For a confidential discussion about this role or other Quantity Surveyor opportunities, please contact James Booth in the Morson Edge Leeds office.
