Job Description:
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.
This is a permanent, part-time role of 30 hours per week, with flexibility to meet service needs. The salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.
We are seeking a Band 7 Nurse Team Leader for the Paediatric Continence Service. This role involves leading a team of Nurse Specialists to deliver streamlined care for children and young people with continence issues, primarily night-time wetting and constipation.
The successful candidate will spend approximately 20% of their time working clinically on the floor, with arrangements made in coordination with the team leader. The role emphasizes holistic assessment, care, and support, grounded in evidence-based practice, and focuses on service provision for children and young people with continence needs.
Applicants should have experience managing patients with continence issues, demonstrate autonomy and teamwork skills, and be capable of working across professional and organizational boundaries in collaboration with healthcare teams. Flexibility, prioritization skills, and the ability to handle fluctuating workloads are essential.
