The Role
We are now seeking to appoint a skilled, nurturing and suitably qualified level 3 EYFS Learning Support Practitioner to join our hardworking team on a permanent basis. We are looking for someone whose values strongly align with those of our school community and who is committed to inclusive, child‑centred practice. The post will initially be based within our Nursery setting, which is well known within the local community for its caring and inclusive nature, offering a welcoming environment where positive relationships and high‑quality early learning are prioritised. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of early childhood development and a passion for supporting young children, including those with additional and complex needs.
The Successful Candidate Will
* Share our Christian ethos and school values and demonstrate these consistently in practice
* Hold a relevant EYFS qualification (e.g. Level 3 Early Years or equivalent)
* Have experience working within Early Years with a secure understanding of the EYFS Framework
* Have experience supporting children with a range of needs, including intimate care where required
* Be calm, patient, caring and nurturing
* Be skilled in supporting learning through play using high quality interactions, as well as through small‑group interventions and 1:1 support
* Be flexible, proactive and an effective team member
* Have high expectations of themselves and others

Hours: 31.25 Hours per week, Term Time Plus 1 week
Grade: Grade D, SCP 9‑17, (£27,254 - £31,022) - Actual Salary, £20,539 - £23,984 p.a.
