An unusual role involving giving technical support to colleagues, clients and suppliers to increase service & after sales revenue (60%), some project management (25%). You will also be setting up and running machine trials and demonstrations with clients (15%) for a multi agency supplier of food process machinery sold into the food industry. \n \nBASIC SALARY: up to £50,000 Base \n \nBENEFITS: \n· Annual bonus to earn circa £5,000 \n· Choice of company car or car allowance \n· 5% Pension \n \nLOCATION: Office based near Stamford so should be commutable to Stamford \n \nCOMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Peterborough, Leicester, Lincoln, Nottingham, Northampton \n \nJOB DESCRIPTION: Engineering Support Manager \n \nThis Engineering Support Manager role is a hybrid role involving giving technical support to colleagues, clients and suppliers to increase service and after sales revenue, project management working with supplier PM teams and setting up and running machine trials and demonstrations with clients.
\n \nIt is office based, but you will be expected to travel to client sites in the UK & Ireland, 1 to 2 days per week once fully trained, and also to suppliers with clients for trials and demonstrations for 7 to 10 days per quarter. \n \nPERSON SPECIFICATION: Engineering Support Manager \n \n· You will have a track record in a technical support or after sales working for a packaging or process machinery supplier to the food process industry. \n· You will be a qualified Mechanical Engineer.
\n· You will be commercially aware and will have worked for a small business. \n \nTHE COMPANY: \n \nA very well established, privately owned, successful and profitable multi agency supplier of a large range of food process machinery to the food process market. Working in a small close knit team to ensure continuing growth.
