Responsibilities
* Lead planning across Cavendish’s nuclear projects, owning complex, high-value schedules.
* Apply expert planning principles and tools like Primavera P6 to maintain integrated schedules aligned with strategic objectives across the full project lifecycle.
* Develop and maintain project structures and integrated schedules (Levels 1–3).
* Provide regular schedule updates, metrics (e.g. critical path/total float), and variance analysis.
* Conduct critical path analysis and earned value reporting, communicating corrective actions.
* Ensure alignment of schedules with cost and material demand tools.
* Lead planning workshops and contribute to risk analysis and “what-if” scenarios.
* This role is full time, 37 hours per week with hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days remote).
Essential experience
* Extensive experience in a similar planning role within engineering or infrastructure.
* Advanced user of Primavera P6 with a strong understanding of planning best practice.
* Proven expertise in schedule risk analysis, earned value, and interactive planning workshops.
* Full lifecycle planning experience from bid through to close-out.
Qualifications
* A degree in engineering, project or construction management is desirable.
