JOB- Project Manager
LOCATION- Glasgow
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
My client is a manufacturer in the Energy sector. They are looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Glasgow on a permanent basis.
The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
* Qualified in Engineering (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) or be QBE from working in a similar technical role
* Previous experience working in Project Management is beneficial
* Previous experience with Product Development is needed
* Have knowledge and experience with Prince2 or similar management techniques & qualifications
* Be able carry out technical design and read engineering drawings
* Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
* Proven success motivating others and successfully managing teams
* Have previous experience working within a similar manufacturing environment
* Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
The Project Manager role will involve:
* Project Managing the full lifecycle development of new equipment – from bid generation to manufacture and delivery
* Leading a team to ensure the success of various projects
* Developing new and existing products
* Taking things from concept to launch
* Helping to develop existing products too
* Liaising with customers, clients and upper management as required, keeping them up to date with project progress
* Maintaining technical documentation as required
* Offering technical support
* Sourcing and selecting components that are required
