What you will do: Undertake comprehensive mental health and risk assessments for children and young people presenting in crisis, ensuring to include safeguarding considerations. Provide evidence-based, short-term interventions aimed at stabilising mental health and reducing risk of harm or hospital admission. Contribute to crisis care planning, safety planning, and discharge pathways through collaboration with young people, families, and your multidisciplinary team colleagues. Work in partnership with external agencies, including social services, schools, GPs, and acute hospital teams, to ensure integrated and coordinated care delivery. Person Specification: Qualifications: Must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Children's Nurse with relevant mental health experience. NMC Registration: Active and in good standing. Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to CAMHS. Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989/2004, Mental Health Act 1983/2007, and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
