Financial Business Partner About the Role We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative Financial Business Partner to join our Finance team in Ashford. This is an exciting time to join IC24 as we continue to evolve our Finance function to be more forward-looking, insight-driven, and connected across our organisation. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer, you’ll play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting operational decision-making. You’ll work closely with managers and clinicians across our services to help them understand their numbers, plan effectively, and make financially sound choices that improve patient care. This is a true business partnering role – one where you’ll go beyond reporting to become a trusted advisor. You’ll help teams build financial understanding, identify opportunities for efficiency, and translate complex information into actionable insights. What You’ll Be Doing Producing accurate, timely monthly management accounts and insightful financial reports. Partnering with managers and clinicians to improve decision-making and promote financial responsibility. Leading annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for assigned business areas. Supporting operational teams to develop and deliver cost improvement and efficiency plans. Providing financial analysis, insight, and recommendations to support strategic and operational priorities. Coaching and supporting managers to build their financial understanding and commercial acumen. Working with the wider finance team to continually improve systems, processes, and ways of working. Taking part in cross-functional projects and supporting the Deputy CFO as required. About You You’re a confident communicator who can turn numbers into stories and insights. You enjoy collaborating with people at all levels and helping others use financial information to make great decisions. We’re looking for someone who is: A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent). Experienced in management accounting or business partnering, ideally within a large or complex organisation. Highly skilled in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and confident working with financial systems. Analytical, proactive, and able to balance detail with big-picture thinking. Capable of building strong, trusted relationships with both finance and non-finance colleagues. A clear and engaging communicator, both verbally and in writing. Organised and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in healthcare, public sector, or social enterprise settings is an advantage, but what’s most important is your curiosity, initiative, and desire to make a difference. Why IC24? Additional Information Location: Ashford, with hybrid working (minimum two office days per week, including Mondays). Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
