Quality EngineerA Day in the Life: As a Quality Engineer, you will be an integral part of our QHSE function and will be responsible for maintaining and improving the company’s QMS, as well as acting as a key interface for Quality, with both internal and external customers. As part of your role, there will also be Inspection-related tasks which you are required to deliver.Key Accountabilities:The identification and implementation of quality improvementopportunities across the manufacturing site, branches, andsuppliers.• Host external Audit activities including pre audit preparation.• Administration and resolution of Customer Complaintsincluding RCA and CAPA.• The implementation and maintenance of process controls tosupport the manufacturing processes including creation andimplementation of Quality plans, ITP, and SOPs.• Maintenance and analysis of data to communicate andimprove key quality objectives.• Manage, monitor, measure and improve supplier qualityperformance.• Manage internal QMS and Process Audits to schedule.• Conduct Supplier and Branch audits.• Monitor, measure and improve internal scrap and rework.• Administer customer QHSE portals and questionnaires.• Manage the calibration system.• In collaboration with QHSE Manager, engage in H&S andEnvironment Activities.• All other duties as required which may be relevant to the role,but which are not listed here.Key Competencies• Effective communicationskills• Good timemanagement/organisationalskills• Proficient in Microsoftpackages• Self-motivator and able touse own initiative• Ability to build and maintaintrusted and effectiverelationshipsQualifications• ISO9001 Lead Auditoror equivalent(Essential)• UK Driving Licence(Essential)• Experience within asimilar role for aminimum of 3 years(Essential)• IOSH/NEBOSHQualification(Desirable)• Experience/qualificationin engineeringbackground (Desirable)
