We are looking for GPs who have

• MRCGP qualification
• Registration on the GMC GP Register with a licence to practise
• Inclusion on an NHS National Performers List (England, Wales, or Northern Ireland)
• UK‑based eligibility to work (essential)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong clinical decision‑making ability
• A genuine passion for patient care
• A commitment to continuous professional development

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a full range of GP services including face‑to‑face consultations, telephone triage, and home visits
• Same‑day urgent care and planned care for long‑term conditions
• Assess and manage patients with undifferentiated and complex presentations
• Diagnose, treat, and develop personalised care plans in line with clinical guidelines
• Prescribe safely and effectively in accordance with local and national formularies
• Review test results, manage repeat prescriptions, and complete referrals and medical reports
• Promote health, wellbeing, and self‑management, signposting to appropriate services
• Maintain accurate, contemporaneous patient records using clinical IT systems
• Participate in duty doctor sessions (as agreed)

About Us

Rotherfield Surgery is a dual site practice, operating from The Brook Health Centre in Crowborough and Rotherfield — a beautiful, leafy area of East Sussex. We serve a population of just over 7,000 patients.

Our multidisciplinary team includes GPs, Practice Nurses, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, and Healthcare Assistants. Our patient demographic has a higher proportion of patients aged over 65, with lower levels of income deprivation compared to local and national averages.

Sussex Primary Care was established in 2019 by GP Partners seeking a new and sustainable model of primary care. We now operate 7 practices, serving over 55,000 patients.
