We’re looking for an enthusiastic IT Helpdesk Apprentice to join our team and help keep our staff working smoothly and efficiently. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting and maintaining our IT systems while developing your technical skills. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager for Western Europe & Africa, this is a 37-hour per week, full-time fixed-term role located in Coventry.

Responsibilities
* Log and respond to IT issues and service requests, learning to communicate solutions clearly
* Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and regular maintenance tasks
* Help build, install, and support laptops, desktops, phones, and printers
* Support the maintenance of server room equipment like backups, switches, routers, and servers
* Travel to different locations when issues can’t be fixed remotely
* Work with third-party vendors as needed
* Help keep an inventory of IT equipment and assist with ordering components
* Keep the server room and supplies organised
Essential/Qualifications
* Keen interest in IT and a desire to learn
* Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
* Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
* Basic understanding of computers and software
* Willingness to travel to different locations when required
* Some experience or knowledge of Windows operating systems is a bonus, but not essential
* Motivation to develop technical skills in areas such as hardware, networking, and software support
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
