Job Description

37 hours a week, permanent

Monday - Thursday 8am-4pm, Friday 8am - 3.30pm

Term time plus 5 inset days

Scale 5 Point 12 - 17, £30,743 - £33,349

Actual salary £26,768 - £29,036 per annum

This key role will be predominantly handling the attendance within the school whilst not only recording absence but dealing with the surrounding issues including liaising with parents, students and staff alike.

You will also support the data requirements of the school providing high quality data management, analysis and administrative support ensuring accurate statutory processes are maintained. The ability to manage your own workload and have a flexible approach to working is essential.

Excellent IT skills and the ability to produce highly accurate data reports are crucial. A team player, you will be able to establish effective working relationships with students, department staff, leadership team and outside agencies to improve pupil attendance.

You will have administrative experience, excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities, often within tight timescales and under pressure. This is a fast-paced environment and will require resilience and optimism to lead through day-to-day challenges.

Due to the nature of the role a high level of confidentiality will be required.
