This is predominantly an office‑based role in Ipswich town centre. Occasional travel and attendance at evening and weekend events are required by prior agreement.

Role Description
The Digital Marketing, Communications and Operations Officer will play a key role in developing and supporting the ongoing work of the charity, which has a commitment to campaign and advocate for improved treatment for young people and adults living with a congenital heart condition.
You will work as part of the existing SHF team, demonstrating advanced communication skills to:
* Develop relationships with stakeholders
* Engage with the people we support
* Build on our existing donor base
* Develop corporate and community partners
* Identify opportunities to better engage with our community
Main Responsibilities
* Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the website and social media platforms, delivering regular engaging, accessible digital audience‑led content in collaboration with staff and members.
* Work flexibly and collaboratively across the charity to ensure alignment with organisational aims and objectives, embracing innovation to overcome challenges and identify new opportunities.
* Support the creation and implementation of robust communications and development strategies, including ambitious fundraising plans and income‑generation streams in line with the organisational strategy.
* Demonstrate enthusiasm, compassion and creativity, with the ability to work under pressure, manage time and solve problems while being receptive to direction and feedback.
