Due to company growth, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales professional to join our team based at our York branch. Cover may also be required at our Harrogate showroom occasionally.
Responsibilities
In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and building lasting relationships with our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
* Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
* Demonstrate products & services to existing and potential customers, assisting them in selecting the best products to suit their needs
* Promoting, selling & securing orders through a relationship-based approach
* Negotiate terms with customers to close sales effectively while maintaining a positive relationship
* Maximise potential opportunities & generate sales to achieve targets
* Use product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers
* Collaborate with team members to achieve overall store objectives and enhance customer satisfaction
* Maintain an organised sales environment, ensuring all displays are visually appealing
* Ordering stock for the showroom & customer orders
* Visit customers for home demonstrations, deliveries & hand over of products
* Utilise IT systems to process sales, track progress and manage customer information accurately
* Responding to enquiries by email & phone
* Warehouse – Some assembly of products will be required.
The ideal Candidate
* Successful in Sales with proven experience in a Sales role
* Demonstrate ability to negotiate effectively
* Commercially aware and customer focused
* Dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service
* A proactive drive to achieve sales goals and contribute positively to the team environment
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent time management
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Someone who can work on their own initiative
* An outgoing personality and a patient & caring nature
* Due to the weight of some products, able to safely lift 30kg
* A full driving licence is required
* A DBS check is required
Working week & Company benefits
* Full time hours: 8:45am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
* Part time hours: 10:00am to 4:00pm. Days to be discussed.
