Front of House Supervisor
Hours of work: 30 hrs per week, minimum. Your working hours will reflect the needs of the business. You will be expected to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Place of work: Sophia Gardens
Mid-October – Mid December.
2 Month Fixed Contract.
Pay Based on Experience: £13 per hour - £15 per hour plus holiday pay
Key responsibilities include:
* Assist in organising, leading, and motivating the catering staff on shift to deliver high standard events at the venue.
* Supervising catering and waiting staff at functions, events and on match days.
* Assist in leading the set-up and breakdown of conference and events, as per the upcoming functions.
* Serving all customers in a friendly, polite, and professional manner
* Ensuring that all hospitality and catering areas are kept clean and efficiently organised, including storage areas.
* To keep track of levels of stock (F&B, sundries and equipment).
* To continuously check for maintenance issues so high standards are maintained throughout the conference and events operations.
* High level of competency with bar operations including using the tills and managing stock.
* To train and upskill casual staff.
* To develop a good working knowledge of Health & Safety policies & procedures
* Adhering to the dress code standards.
* Enhancing company image improving the brand reputation and profile.
* Day-to-day troubleshooting and main point of contact.
* Continue working relationships with the sales team, operations department and maintenance team.
* Any other reasonable duties as requested by management from time to time.
