Role overview
This is an exciting opportunity to support the University in achieving its strategic objectives by working in the Solutions Development team as a principal solutions developer. You will help deliver solutions via the use of C# .NET, web-services, web-applications, web-APIs, and integrating/transporting data across many of the university’s key systems. The role involves working in an established agile team with a move towards DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deliver software solutions using C# .NET (Framework & Core), SQL Server, and related technologies.
* Develop and maintain web services, web applications, and web APIs; integrate and transport data across university systems.
* Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design, development, unit testing, and quality assurance.
* Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to DevOps workflows where applicable.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members; provide technical guidance as a senior developer.
Qualifications and experience
* Degree and substantial and relevant experience as a senior software developer.
* Excellent logical analysis and strong teamwork abilities.
* Proficiency with: C# .NET (Framework & Core), SQL Server, Git, Agile/Scrum, and Azure/DevOps.
