If you are an experienced P6 Planner within the construction industry and are looking for a permanent opportunity with career growth, then this could be for you.
You will need to be a highly motivated individual who can confidently oversee planning activities. Working with your colleagues across various departments to deliver successful projects.
ABOUT YOU
* Solid track record as a Planner within the construction and civil engineering sector
* Degree in civil engineering, construction management (or related field)
* Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Asta
* Proficient in both NEC and JCT forms of contracts
* Strong analytical skills
* Attention to detail
* Experienced working to strict deadlines
* Ability to assess complex project requirements and deliver solutions
* Time management skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects at any one time
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Experienced with working to UK construction regulations - Health and Safety Standards and Environmental
* Hold a valid UK driving licence and be open to travel to sites in the UK as and when required
YOUR NEW ROLE
* Develop and implement effective planning strategies - aligning with project objectives, timelines and within budget
* Work with Project Managers and Engineers to collate all project requirements, specifications and constraints to then create project schedules
* In-depth analysis of project requirements - This will include site conditions, logistics, available resources, and identifying potential risks
* Create detailed project schedules
* Monitor and track the progress of projects
* Provide regular updates to project teams and stakeholders
* Work closely with procurement, supply chain teams and the estimating team
* Continuously evaluate and improve planning processes
* Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices and technology advancements
* Support and guide junior planners
SALARY AND BENEFITS
* Basic salary up to £75,000 (depending on experience and skills)
