Holiday Warehouse Operative – Royal Mail – Atherstone
Full-time ongoing work for the holiday period. Supporting the prestigious Royal Mail site in Atherstone (CV9 1LQ). Seeking a large number of Warehouse Operatives – overtime available.
Working Hours & Availability
Work is available from October through to Christmas 2025. Working 7.5‑hour shifts across a Monday to Sunday shift profile.
* Full time – 37.5 hours per week minimum (5‑6 shifts)
* Part time – up to 30 hours per week (1 – 4 shifts)
Shift Times & Pay
Typical shifts and pay rate:
* 0600‑1430 @ £14.48 per hour
* 1430‑2230 @ £14.48 per hour
* 2230‑0600 @ £15.78 per hour
Role Overview
The role involves being on your feet for the whole shift and can be physically demanding. Working at the heart of our team as one of our Seasonal Parcel Sorters, you’ll play a key role in delivering Christmas to the nation. You’ll unload mail and parcels from our lorries, move them through our centres, and help sort letters. Helping us to deliver more for our customers is important – it’s a hands‑on role, ensuring every parcel, letter and present reaches their destination safely.
Responsibilities & Requirements
* Working in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines
* Flexibility and adaptability to switch between various tasks during a shift
* Ability to push trolleys (up to 250 kg) and lift/move mail bags (up to 11 kg)
* Ability to comfortably stand for longer periods
Note that whilst experience as a Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer is preferred, training is provided for those without a background in logistics.
