We are seeking a detail‑oriented and safety‑driven individual to undertake general risk assessments, associated SOP’s & SSOW’s at our National Distribution Centre near Wolverhampton.
This role will be on a fixed term contract (circa 3-6 months).
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & SSOWs for all warehouse activities.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments, identifying required control measures.
* Collaborate with operational teams to identify hazards and improve safety practices.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in warehouse, logistics, or industrial environments is advantageous.
* Knowledge of UK health & safety legislation.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
* Proficient in MS Office.
* Experience in undertaking and completing risk assessments, SOP’s & SSOW’s (templates provided).
* Ability to influence and engage teams at all levels.
