The successful candidate will lead shift operations within a CNC machine shop environment, ensuring production targets, safety standards, quality requirements, and continuous improvement objectives are achieved while maintaining a strong presence on the shop floor. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead shift operations to achieve production targets and daily performance goals. Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and environmental standards. Manage Team Leaders and oversee labour allocation, performance, and training needs. Maintain a visible leadership presence and promote a positive team culture. Oversee daily machine shop activities, troubleshooting issues to maintain workflow. Ensure accurate job bookings, reporting, and operational records. Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve OEE. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve quality and reduce scrap.
