We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to work as a valued member of our dedicated kitchen team. You will be supporting the kitchen supervisor in all areas of the service. You will be working in a busy production kitchen assisting with the preparation, cooking and service of the break and lunch time meals to a large number of pupils. Possible tasks include food preparation, cooking, portion control, allergen compliance and preparing the dining room for service. Our Catering Assistants are our point of contact with our hungry customers. You will be required to maintain all hygiene standards in the unit and have a good customer service approach. We want to help make good lunchtime memories for our customers so it is essential that you can demonstrate an attitude which is appropriate to the school environment. Successful completion of the NVQ food hygiene certificate will be required upon appointment. Provisional Interview Date: January 2026
