SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary/Secondary SEN School (Rossendale) Hours: 8:50am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday Pay: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour Location: Rossendale We are looking for a dedicated and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Specialist Educational Needs school catering to both primary and secondary pupils. This is a rewarding role working with students who require additional support with their learning, communication, and daily routines. Key Responsibilities: Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, MLD, PMLD, and complex needs Providing 1:1 and small-group support Assisting with personal care and promoting independence Supporting the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging activities Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with SEN Confidence with personal care A calm, patient, and resilient approach Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.
