Responsibilities
You will be an outgoing, energetic person, having great people skills and ability to close deals.
* This is a fast-paced job, where no two days will be the same, you’ll need to think on your feet, be confident to conduct cold calls and professionally pitch to potential clients.
* You will ensure sales targets are met, by hosting sales meetings, discussing products and service updates to clients and reporting on activity to your line manager.
* You will learn the sales functions by observing other sales reps who secure new business.
* Maintain & develop customer relationships with existing clients.
* Assist customers by providing product info, suitability and pricing.
* Provide customer service & support online.
* Make accurate calculations on products.
* Learn products and supplier’s products, to best match customer needs.
* Travel is required to client sites, sometimes at short notice, to present or collect measurements.
The successful person with the right attitude can be fast tracked, into a Junior Management role.
Requirements
* Ideally educated to Degree level, but will also consider A-Level, with some industry experience.
* Excellent presentation, communication and numerical skills.
* Strong time management and workload management skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
Must have full driving license, good IT skills including Word & Excel.
