Bespak is looking for an Engineering Supervisor for a permanent, onsite position at the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary for this role is £46k to £55k. Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leave plus bank holidays, discretionary annual bonus, generous 10% pension contribution, onsite free parking, and medical / dental / health / life assurance.
Working Pattern
Monday to Friday usual working times of 8:30am to 5:00pm with an 8:30 am to 3:45pm finish on a Friday. There is some flexibility on start and finish times.

As the Engineering Supervisor, you will provide daily leadership and professional support to a team of multi-skilled engineers, developing and mentoring them to foster a culture of excellence. You will be responsible for the planning and coordination of all maintenance activities, ensuring a high level of customer service and operational efficiency. A key part of your role will be to uphold the highest standards of safety, financial, and cGMP compliance across all site assets. You will constantly measure team performance and drive a culture of continuous improvement to ensure all work is delivered effectively and to budget.
Bespak in Holmes Chapel is an Investors in People Silver Award-winning pharmaceutical CDMO with over 350 employees, currently going through a period of significant site expansion. We are investing heavily to increase our capacity for developing and manufacturing sustainable pMDIs (asthma inhalers) with greener propellants, meeting the evolving standards of the industry, while providing comprehensive development, manufacturing, filling, and finishing solutions for a range of medical devices, including SMIs, DPIs, nasal sprays, and medical check valves.
As an Engineering Supervisor your duties will include:
Lead, mentor, and develop the multi-skilled engineering team.
Plan and coordinate all site maintenance activities effectively.
Drive a strong culture of continuous improvement and LEAN.
Ensure full compliance with all HSE and cGMP standards.
Measure and review team performance to meet objectives.
Manage resources, budgets, and engineering maintenance strategies.
Engineering Supervisor, beneficial key skills and experience:
Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical engineering maintenance experience.
Strong knowledge of PPM, OEE, and continuous improvement.
Demonstrable leadership skills in a management or project role.
Proven ability to troubleshoot in a multi-skilled environment.
Proficiency with engineering systems like Maximo or AutoCAD.
In-depth understanding of Health and Safety best practice.
