We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school team in Bradford. This full-time position begins on June 3rd and runs until Christmas, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our school community.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
2. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
3. Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching science.
4. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
5. Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for learning and scientific inquiry.
Responsibilities:
6. Deliver engaging and effective science lessons across KS3 and KS4, adhering to the national curriculum.
7. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for science.
8. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help all students achieve their full potential.
9. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
10. Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practices.
