Temp 1st Line IT Support
Location: Houghton Regis, Beds
Rate of Pay: £12.74ph rising to £14.40ph after 12 weeks
Benefits: additional holiday pay, free parking
Days/Hours of work: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (35 hours per week)
Overview of the Role
* 1st Line Technical Support using Service Desk Software (Samanage).
* Undertake UAT testing with the team when required.
* Provide efficient and effective support to system users.
* Ensure service desk requests are logged and processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
* Resolve tickets at 1st line level and escalate to senior IT personnel when necessary.
* Undertake other related work under the direction of the IT Management Team.
Person Requirements
* Highly motivated with excellent administrative and organizational skills.
* Good experience of IT systems and accurate keyboard skills.
* Excellent customer service skills, both in person and on the telephone.
* Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Previous Service Desk experience.
