We are seeking a proactive Yardsman who is reliable, punctual, and motivated to get the job done, to join our Newcastle team.
Purpose of the role
This role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and maintenance of our West Thurrock site to ensure that all operations run smoothly. This position requires effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Key Accountabilities
* Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of the site.
* Cleaning of bunds
* Cleaning inside of tanks readying for inspections
* Packing and storing finished products
* Assist in loading and unloading materials, goods & equipment as required.
* Manual work including cleaning and digging in process areas
* Support the team in daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly
* Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient operations
* Work in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures
* Ensure PPE is worn correctly and appropriately
* Ensure work is always undertaken to the highest standard
* Ensure compliance with all contractual employment obligations
* Ensure compliance with our ISO standards
* Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements at all times
