HGV Workshop Shift Supervisor - 2+ Years Experience Required - Preston - Permanent Role.
Salary: £50,000pa
Your Shift Pattern:
* 4 on 4 off
* 0700am-1900
Silver Arrow require an experienced HGV Workshop Shift Supervisor to work for our client, a prestigious transport company, based in the Preston area.

Responsibilities
* Supervising and working as part of the team of technicians and apprentices.
* Ensuring job cards are processed in a timely manner and work is completed to the required standards.
* Oversee and ensure that all processes are followed correctly and all health and safety rules are being adhered to.
* Act as the main link between the managers and wider team, as well as being a key point of contact for customers where required.
* Assist with planning and relevant training and development for the workshop staff, ensuring good communication & information flow between the front desk and service staff.
* Supporting training and development in the workshop
Qualifications / What we need from you
* Experience managing teams.
* Ideally have a clean HGV/LGV licence however, this is not essential.
* Experience of working in the transport industry and in a working service workshop.
* The ability to manage teams on multiple shifts.
* You do NOT need to be a qualified mechanic, but you do need solid workshop experience and the ability to lead a technical team.
