We are working with a local authority school based in Worksop to source a SEN Officer.
A SEN Coordinator teacher is a Special Educational Needs Coordinator, a qualified teacher who is responsible for overseeing and implementing a school's policy for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). They help identify students' needs, arrange extra support, and work with parents, teachers, and external professionals to ensure children receive the help they need to succeed in their education.
This position is ongoing and is based 0800 - 1600 Monday to Friday (term time)
To be considered for the role of SEN Officer:
- Have a current DBS check - Come from a Special Needs background - Have teaching or teaching assistant experience - Have good administration and communication skills
