We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated ICT or Computing Teacher to join a reputable Special School in rural West Sussex. This role is ideal for a compassionate individual with a drive to support students with a range of emotional, behavioural, social, or communication difficulties, as well as learning challenges.
Day-to-day of the role:
Delivering tailored educational programs to students from KS3 to KS4.
Fostering a nurturing and supportive classroom environment that promotes healthy physical, emotional, and behavioural development.
Collaborating with senior leaders, subject teachers, school doctor, and therapists to support each child’s growth and development.
Adapting teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students with BESD in a therapeutic setting.
Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices and contribute to the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience or a strong desire to support children with BESD in a therapeutic setting.
Ability to work cooperatively with a multidisciplinary team.
Strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Must be a driver with access to your own vehicle due to the rural location of the school.
