An exciting opportunity for a full‑time Physiotherapist to join the Care Community Team in Ellesmere Port. The role involves assessing and treating patients in their own environment, providing supervision to junior staff, and working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
* Assess and treat patients in their own environment using a wide variety of assessment and therapeutic techniques.
* Provide supervision and support to junior and support staff.
* Collaborate with professionals from multiple professional groups and across organisations as an active member of the Care Community Team.
Qualifications
* Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy.
* Evidence of relevant postgraduate courses.
* HCPC registration.
* Clinical educators course.
* Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
Knowledge and Expertise
* Scientific and clinical knowledge of physiotherapy practice in line with evidence‑based practice.
* Professional guidelines and codes of conduct.
* Trust and services policies and procedures.
* Evidence of CPD and portfolio demonstrating interest in a specialist area.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
* Adherence to the Code of Ethics and Professional Standard of CSP and the HCPC.
* Access to transport for work purposes.
Experience
* Minimum of 2 years post‑graduate experience, including a broad range of working in relevant fields.
* Commitment to training and development.
* Reflective practice.
* Experience of student clinical supervision.
* Experience of day‑to‑day supervision of Band 5 and/or support staff.
