You will be required to speak to colleagues and clients, so an excellent command of the English language is required for this role (written/ verbal), to execute this role efficiently. Credit Checking on New and Existing Agencies and End Clients using Experian (Credit Reference Agency) Obtaining Credit Limits on new accounts and requesting/appealing increases for established accounts Setting up new Agencies and Client Accounts from information held on the Booking Form Introduction calls to ensure all information held is correct and matches that on Companies House Regular communication – both verbal and written with the Insurance Companies Ad-hoc Reporting Updating Client Information on various computer systems The banking of cheques and ensuring remittances are sent for allocation Completion of the PERM process from raising the invoice to ensuring the funds are released to the Agency Supporting the Credit Control Team in the collection of cash Attending training sessions from the relevant Insurance Company on any new Independent Policy opened You may also be required to occasionally carry out additional duties within your capabilities in order to meet the needs of the business. The training you will be getting The successful candidate will be enrolled on the Level 3 Business Administrator Standard, which is equivalent to 2 A Levels. As a business administration apprentice, you will complete the following qualifications as part of your apprenticeship: Level 3 Business Administrator Standard Apprenticeship Level 2 Functional Skills maths and English if equivalents are not already achieved You will also develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to work within an office environment This apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace and 20% of your working time will be dedicated towards training and learning new skills You will be allocated a tutor who will provide you with personal support and assessment at pre-arranged times Assessment is through a variety of methods including observations in the workplace, witness testimonies, product evidence and professional discussions All evidence will be logged to your electronic portfolio What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship Progression to a full-time position at the end of the apprenticeship for the right candidate.
